AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FRENCH RIVER DEVELOPMENT CO., L.L.C. TO PARTICIPATE WITH THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PROJECT NO. 96-SG-19. THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT AGREES TO ACCEPT AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,372.00 AS A CONTRIBUTION IN AID OF CONSTRUCTION FROM THE SAID, FRENCH RIVER DEVELOPMENT CO., L.L.C.

WHEREAS, French River Development Co., L.L.C. has expressed a desire to provide public sewer improvements to certain property in the John Hager Road/New Hope Road area; and,

WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the public to construct the sewer facility improvements, and French River Development Co., L.L.C. is agreeable to paying their proportionate share of the total cost in an amount not to exceed $1,372.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to receive from French River Development Co., L.L.C. an amount not to exceed $1,372.00 to aid in the construction of the sewer improvements designated as Project No. 96-SG-19. The participation is in accordance with the attached agreement between the Department of Water and Sewerage Services and French River Development Co., L.L.C., copy attached as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
