The Metropolitan Council met in special session on this date at 10:00 a.m. at Rolling Mill Hill pursuant to Section 1.08 of the Metropolitan Charter and the prior adoption of Resolution RS2014-1060.
Council Pro Tempore Harmon led the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag.
The invocation was offered by Reverend Edward Steiner of Cathedral of the Incarnation.
President Neighbors called the meeting to order and introduced musical guest Ruby Amanfu.
The State of Metro address was presented by The Honorable Karl F. Dean, Metropolitan Mayor.
The benediction was offered by Reverend Frank S. Gordon of Fourteenth Avenue Missionary Baptist Church.
Upon motion duly seconded, the meeting was adjourned.
