Minutes Special Metropolitan Council Meeting Tuesday, May 1, 2012

The Metropolitan Council met in special session on this date at 10:00 a.m. at Cumberland Park pursuant to Section 1.08 of the Metropolitan Charter and the prior adoption of Resolution No. RS2012-210.

Council Member Erica Gilmore led the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag.

The invocation was offered by Brother Lytle Thomas of Inner City Ministries.

President Neighbors called the meeting to order and introduced musical guest Chuck Mead.

The State of Metro address was presented by The Honorable Karl F. Dean, Metropolitan Mayor.

The benediction was offered by Pastor George T. Brooks Sr. of St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

The meeting was adjourned without objection.
