An ordinance amending Title 2 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws and authorizing the creation of a Central Business Improvement District for Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, and to appoint a corporation to act as an advisory board to the District with the necessary powers and authority to carry out the purposes and intent of the District. The bill was approved by the Budget and Finance and Planning, Zoning, Historical and Port Authority Committees. Mr. Sloss requested a hearing from the public on this bill which had been previously advertised. An ordinance amending Section 2.36.100(G) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws to reduce to three days the time allowed for abatement of nuisances. Mr. Dillard requested permission to withdraw the bill, which permission was granted by a unanimous vote of the Council.

An ordinance authorizing the transfer and acceptance of certain property from the United States Government to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, for the benefit of the Metropolitan Police Department.
